After disassembly, each panel was stripped from the previous galvanized steel back to bare steel and any dings were worked out. Any cracks in the steel or rotted holes were welded. Steel parts like the firewall, bumpers and the floor panels that were too rusty were cut out and new steel was welded to the original steel. After all the repairs, the parts were brought back and re-galvanized making the parts look brand new again.
