Why did they reach out to the galvanizer? As stated in the last sentence of the intro: “Evolve is innovating for the future with their transport lines. Meeting with the galvanizer started at Evolve in Painesville, Ohio with their Operations Manager and VP of Operations to discuss their need to increase the overall durability of their transporters. Galvanizing the trailer was the obvious choice moving forward; based on the original length of the trailer the Operations Manager for the galvanizer suggested manufacturing the new design into three sections. Proper draining and ventilation were discussed and approved to hot dip galvanize the trailer frame safely and efficiently. By breaking this unit into three sections it allowed for the sections then to be a single dip scenario, which was more cost effective. The next step involved Evolves Operation Manager to visit the galvanizer to see the trailer parts hot dipped, once dipped and inspected it was given the thumbs up moving forward. A final meeting back at Evolve and then everything moved forward galvanizing their first trailer, since the first one another 4 transporters have been delivered and galvanized. Evolve is now following their history of being innovative by hot dip galvanizing their transporters which provides coating durability, corrosion performance and sustainability for many years to come.

Protecting America's Infrastructure One Dip at a Time

Connesville Bridge

Crawford Avenue Bridge's $11.5 million rehabilitation project replaced the 65-year-old structure with a 490-foot, six-span steel stringer bridge featuring hot-dip galvanized girders, cross frames, and splice plates for corrosion protection near the Youghiogheny River. The new design includes expanded vehicle capacity, a seven-foot bike lane, and six-foot sidewalk for enhanced pedestrian and bicycle safety.

Golden Giant Egg Processing Facility

Golden Giant Building Systems' automated egg processing facility in western Ohio utilized 700,000 pounds of hot-dip galvanized steel to support operations producing 145,000 dozen eggs daily from over two million chickens.

William Allen Art

Artist William Allen creates distinctive sculptures in his garage workshop, utilizing hot-dip galvanizing to achieve a sleek industrial aesthetic while ensuring long-lasting durability and visual appeal. His galvanized pieces offer contemporary metallic finishes that capture light beautifully, making fine art accessible to collectors and art enthusiasts alike.

SQ Balefeeders

Modular large square bale feeders were developed for 3x3x8 bales, utilizing hot-dip galvanizing for ultimate corrosion protection in livestock operations serving up to 45 adult sheep or goats per feeder. The component-based design enables flat freight shipping and flexible on-site assembly into 10 or 15-foot configurations for various farm operations.
