Maine Medical Center Parking Garage

Located in the heart of Portland, Maine’s Medical Center has undergone a recent expansion of their parking garage. Originally built in 2006, this garage needed additional parking spaces to accommodate the hospital’s employees. During this expansion, there was an immediate safety concern about the vertical openings in the parking garage.

After exploring many options, Duplex coated hot-dip galvanized steel panels were chosen due to their versatility and corrosion-resistant properties. Over 25 tons of these mesh panels were installed to help secure the garage along with those inside.

Additional Projects

Once the dealership, the architect, Lepi / contractor came up with a finalized design, Precision Welding & Installation was selected as the fabricator for the project
