Vantage Data Centers are part of the world’s largest data center market. Sitting on a campus of 52 acres with 6 multi-story facilities, VA 13 has a property size of 364,600 sq. ft.
The Vantage Campus features many unique attributes to compliment the sustainability of HDG, such as hyper-efficient cooling with outside air economization using minimal water, outdoor lights powered by solar and wind energy sources, solar-powered electric vehicle charging stations and drought-resistant landscaping.
"Hot-dip galvanizing was an easy decision, especially when considering the corrosion protection offered."
In addition to sustainability being a factor in coating, corrosion protection and durability were also a concern. Due to tight scheduling, communication between the fabricator, galvanizer, and GC were key on this project. Everything was executed in a timely manner and delivered to the site on time.
The Vantage Data Center Campus reaches five continents, and it powers, cools, protects, and connects the world’s hyperscalers, cloud providers, and large enterprises. This project was funded by a green loan and benefits from the coating of HDG and its sustainability. With sustainability in mind, Amanda Sutton, Senior Director of Sustainability for Vantage Data Centers, said, “Vantage’s dedication to sustainable operations made us an ideal candidate for this loan, and it’s just one more step in our journey to positively impact climate change. With this in mind, hot-dip galvanizing was an easy decision, especially when considering the corrosion protection offered."
